Delegate Access

What Is It?

Granting someone delegate access allows them to manage your email and calendar without needing your login. They can accept calendar invites on your behalf, send emails on your behalf, and delete items from your inbox/calendar.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Faculty and staff can grant delegate access to each other.

Where Can I Get It?

Click "Grant Delegate Access" in the upper right. Please note that you cannot request delegate access to someone's calendar/inbox. The person submitting the request needs to be the person who is wanting to grant access.

How Do I Use It?

Once delegate access is granted, the person who owns the inbox/calendar will need to re-share their calendar with the person to whom they granted access. The person who now has access will automatically be able to add/remove items from the calendar. The person who now has access will need to configure Outlook to add the inbox/calendar owner's account, but it will automatically appear in the web app.

How Much Does It Cost?

There is no fee associated with this service.
